Terms of Service
Last updated: April 22, 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Chesapeake Mobile Detailing website, quote forms, booking tools, communications, and detailing services. By using this website, requesting a quote, booking an appointment, paying an invoice or checkout, or allowing us to perform work on a vehicle, you agree to these Terms.
2. Company and Contact
References to “Chesapeake Mobile Detailing,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean the mobile detailing business operating this website. References to “you” or “customer” mean the person using the site, requesting service, booking an appointment, paying for service, or authorizing work on a vehicle.
For questions, call or text 518-816-9192.
3. Services, Quotes, and Pricing
We provide mobile and drop-off vehicle detailing services, including interior detailing, exterior detailing, full detailing, pet hair removal, stain treatment, engine cleaning, headlight restoration, odor neutralization, and other add-on services.
Prices shown on the website are starting prices unless stated otherwise. Final pricing may change based on vehicle size, condition, contamination, pet hair, excessive staining, odor severity, biohazard concerns, location, requested add-ons, or customer-requested scope changes. A quote is not final until accepted by us in writing, by booking confirmation, or by payment request.
4. Booking Through Cal.diy
Online scheduling is powered by our self-hosted Cal.diy booking system. Cal.diy manages appointment availability, booking questions, calendar conflict checks, confirmations, cancellations, and related booking workflows. You may book as a guest without creating a customer account.
When you book, you agree to provide accurate contact information, service location details, vehicle information, and any condition notes needed to prepare for service. Calendar availability is offered in real time, but appointments are not guaranteed until a booking confirmation is issued.
5. Payments and Stripe Checkout
Payments are processed through Stripe or Stripe-powered checkout connected to our Cal.diy booking system. We do not store full card numbers on our website. Stripe may collect and process payment details, billing details, fraud prevention signals, and transaction metadata under Stripe's own services and policies.
If payment is required at booking, the appointment may not be reserved until payment is completed. If a balance remains after an estimate changes, we may request additional payment before or at service completion.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows
Please cancel or reschedule as early as possible. We may apply cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show fees when a customer cancels late, is unavailable at the appointment time, gives an incorrect address, fails to provide vehicle access, or otherwise prevents service from being performed.
Weather, unsafe working conditions, equipment issues, calendar conflicts, illness, travel delays, or circumstances outside our control may require us to reschedule. If we must reschedule, we will make reasonable efforts to offer the next practical appointment window.
7. Mobile Service Requirements
For mobile appointments, you must provide legal access to the vehicle, a safe work area, adequate space around the vehicle, and any required permission from property owners, employers, apartment complexes, HOAs, or municipalities. Some services may require access to water, power, shade, drainage permission, or a location where washing/detailing is permitted.
We may decline, pause, or reschedule service if the location is unsafe, restricted, inaccessible, poorly lit, exposed to severe weather, or otherwise unsuitable for professional detailing.
8. Vehicle Condition and Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for removing valuables, personal items, child seats, important documents, weapons, medications, fragile items, and sensitive electronics before service. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle unless caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
You must disclose known issues such as loose trim, failing paint, repainted panels, leaks, electrical issues, tint damage, cracked leather, biohazards, pest activity, mold, bodily fluids, sharp objects, or other conditions that may affect safety or results.
9. Results and Limitations
Detailing improves appearance, cleanliness, and protection, but it cannot guarantee restoration of all damage, stains, smells, oxidation, scratches, etching, paint defects, interior wear, or pre-existing damage. Some stains, odors, defects, or contamination may be permanent or may require specialty repair beyond detailing.
Before-and-after photos may be used to document work quality and vehicle condition. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid displaying personally identifying information such as license plates, addresses, or personal items.
10. SMS, Email, and Calls
By submitting forms, requesting quotes, or booking appointments, you authorize us to contact you by phone, email, and text about quotes, appointments, service updates, payment links, reminders, cancellations, and follow-up. Marketing texts require separate consent when requested. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP to (737) 383-0080 for assistance and STOP to unsubscribe from SMS where supported.
11. Third-Party and Open-Source Tools
Our stack uses self-hosted and open-source tools including Cal.diy for scheduling workflows and may use Stripe for payments, email/SMS providers for notifications, and calendar providers such as Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or iCal-compatible calendars for scheduling. These tools help deliver the service but do not make those providers responsible for our detailing work.
12. Website Use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, interfere with booking systems, scrape data at scale, impersonate others, submit false information, or use our forms for spam or unlawful activity. We may block abusive traffic or reject suspicious submissions.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Chesapeake Mobile Detailing is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, loss of use, missed appointments caused by inaccurate customer information, or conditions outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for a claim related to a service will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where prohibited by law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
